During the free trial
Your first subscription starts with 14 days free (one trial per account). We take a card to begin it and charge nothing until day 15.
Cancel before day 15 and you are never billed. There is nothing to refund because nothing has been taken.
A later subscription, for example for a second organization, is charged from the first day. The 14-day refund below still applies to it.
How to cancel
In Yonderay, go to Settings → Plan and billing and choose to cancel. An owner or admin of the organization can do it.
If you cannot get to that screen for any reason, write to [email protected] from the email address on the account and we will cancel it for you. You will usually get a reply within 48 hours.
When cancellation takes effect
At the end of the period you have already paid for. If you are on a monthly plan and cancel on the 10th, you keep everything until your normal billing date. If you are on an annual plan, you keep it until the year you paid for runs out.
Nothing is cut off early, and nothing further is charged. The one exception is deleting the organization, which ends its plan at once.
Refunds
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment. We refund the unused part of the period you paid for, counted from the day you ask.
To ask for one, go to paddle.net, run by Paddle, our merchant of record, or write to [email protected]. You will usually get a reply within 48 hours.
After those 14 days, payments are not refunded and you keep the service until the period you paid for ends. That applies to:
- Part-used periods. Cancelling half way through a month or a year after the first 14 days does not produce a partial refund — you keep the service instead, until the period ends.
- Seats you stop using. If your team shrinks, the reduction takes effect at your next renewal. Seats already paid for are not refunded.
- Periods that renewed automatically. We email you before an annual renewal. If one catches you out, write to us — see below.
- Deleting an organization. Deleting an organization cancels its plan immediately. The time left is not refunded.
When we will look at it anyway
If something has genuinely gone wrong — you were charged twice, the service was unusable, a renewal landed days after you meant to cancel — write to [email protected] and tell us what happened. We would rather sort out a real problem than hold you to a sentence on a page.
Where a refund is given, the organization becomes read-only immediately, on the day the refund is issued rather than at the end of the period.
What happens to your organization afterwards
When a subscription ends, the organization becomes read-only.
- Everyone can still sign in.
- Everyone can still read every message, file, note and post already there.
- Nobody can send, upload, or invite anybody new.
Nobody is removed from the organization, ever, for any billing reason. Your history is not held hostage — you can read it and take it with you.
After 30 days in read-only, the organization and everything in it is permanently deleted. We email you before that happens. Subscribing again at any point during those 30 days brings everything back exactly as it was.
Deletion is permanent and we cannot undo it. If you want your data, export it before the 30 days are up, or write to us and we will help.
Who takes the payment
Paddle is our merchant of record. They are the seller on your invoice, they take the payment and they handle the tax for your country. Your card statement and your receipts will show Paddle rather than YonderWork.
You can write to us about anything at all, including billing — we deal with Paddle on your behalf.
Who you are contracting with
Your agreement is with Md Elias Hassan Naim, a sole trader trading as YonderWork.
